ALL IRELAND SUCCESS FOR GOWRAN PARK LADIES
What a few months it has been for Gowran park, after the magnificent few weeks back in August that saw 4 Leinster Titles return to Gowran Park, The last 2 weekends in September have delivered brilliant All Ireland success, with our ladies winning the Revive Active in Knightsbrook and quickly followed up by the Intermediate Cup delivered with superb performance in Westport over weekend of 22nd and 23rd September.
Our Men’s team delivered a strong performance to reach the All Ireland final of the Jimmy Bruen but just came up short on the day against a strong Tubbercurry team, but again a magnificent performance by team to make the final.
It is magnificent achievement by whole club to deliver consistently all year in the Interclub competitions, all credit due to players, managers, volunteers and everyone who came out to support over last few months, the support from members and all really does drive everyone forward!
