Competition entry fees are a core source of revenue to the working committees of the club and assist us to support the expenses associated with running the members section of the club which vary from administration, golf prizes, software systems, inter club teams, junior coaching, hosting member events and many more functions required to deliver the golf club services and standards expected from you, our members.

Prizes will be presented on the last Wednesday of every month during Summer months. Members must attend. Prizes due to members who do not attend will be awarded to those present.

Our resident golf instructor is Dominic Bolger (087) 252 7098

Only the Gowran Park golf instructor may give playing lessons on Gowran Park Golf Course. The use of the practice area is limited to members of Gowran Park Golf Course.

The overriding principle is that consideration should be shown to others on the course at all times. • Smart Casual attire is essential. No Denim, Tracksuits, Football Jerseys etc.
  • Play at a good pace and keep up.
  • Replace Divots, Rake Bunkers & Repair Plug Marks.
