Competition entry fees are a core source of revenue to the working committees of the club and assist us to support the expenses associated with running the members section of the club which vary from administration, golf prizes, software systems, inter club teams, junior coaching, hosting member events and many more functions required to deliver the golf club services and standards expected from you, our members.
Prizes will be presented on the last Wednesday of every month during Summer months. Members must attend. Prizes due to members who do not attend will be awarded to those present.

Only the Gowran Park golf instructor may give playing lessons on Gowran Park Golf Course. The use of the practice area is limited to members of Gowran Park Golf Course.
The overriding principle is that consideration should be shown to others on the course at all times. There is a section in the Rules of Golf dealing with these issues which include dress code, priority on the course, pace of play, care of the course etc. These are all outlined in the club diary and can be summarised by the following:

The Online Booking facility is available to members.
Go to the the golf section of the www.gowranpark.ie website and select Book a Tee Time and follow the instructions to register using your 8 digit Golf Ireland number which can be found on the back of your swipe card.
Tee Times for 2026 are as follows:
Wednesday tee times, 9.36 – 10.24 a.m. and 1.36 – 2.00 p.m. If you wish to play on a Sunday, please arrange your own opposition and tee time or check on the online booking system for vacant slots.
Ladies are required to be onsite 15 minutes prior to tee times for draws to be made and in any exceptional circumstances that you may be running late, please inform another lady member that you know is playing or phone the golf office so that you may be added to the draw list.
Our golfer of the year will start on the first competition day after April 1st and points will be allocated as follows….
1st = 10pts, 2nd = 8pts, 3rd = 6pts, 4th = 4pts, 5th = 2pts.
If a race meeting or an open day falls on a Sunday our alternate day will be the previous Saturday.
