Our final junior competition of the year took place Sunday 28th September. Winners were. Boys, Sam McAviney, girls Anna Graham. Golfers of the year were, Girls, Anna Graham, Boys, Dylan Drennan. @2025 has been a thriving year in the junior program. Here are the highlights. ![]()

Over 50 junior members with another 30 actively involved in Saturday junior coaching lessons. ![]()
Our under 15,s reached a Leinster semi final, never reached this far previously. ![]()
First time in the club to have a junior girls captain, thank you Katie Comerford. ![]()
Over 100 juniors played in the Harry Cup which continues to be a flagship event in the junior calendar.![]()

Thank you junior committee, Convenor, Darren Carroll, Judy Dick, Lottie Boote, John Leamy, Lorcan Lynch and of course our hard working resident golf coach, Dominic Bolger. Thank you Gowran Park especially Eddie and Joe for your support and special mention to our honorary secretary, Seamus Fitzpatrick, who helped along with Joe, adding new pitching areas on the driving range with more exciting additions to follow over the next 6 months. Finally thank you to our brilliant panel of mentors and club volunteers and to the parents for your continued support. Till next spring. Our under 15 team lost 2 and 1 to a resilient Greystones team in the Leinster semi final with all three matches going to the 18th. Our lads showed incredible grit, courage and determination with one player injured but would not give up, that reflected how much it meant to represent their club and fight to the very end. The support from the rest of the panel, parents, mentors and club officials really made it a special day. The team has inspired and energised the entire junior program, that as a club we can stand with the best of them. Thank you Captain John, and our truly committed and courageous juniors. ![]()
