Nine Hole
The Brendan McDermott Golf Academy Golf Shop 9 hole winner last week, the 29th is the wonderfully talented Rachel Dick. Rachel playing off 15 shot a nett 30.5 for the 9 holes. Second place went to Tony Mahon with 31.5 and third was Ann Mullins with 32.
This week’s Brendan McDermott Golf Academy Golf Shop 9 hole winner is the equally young and talented Richie Lowry with 22 points playing off 3! Harry Lannon claimed second spot on a count back from Rachel Dick, both shooting 21 points.
Matchplay Season
We are nearly up to date with the matchplay rounds. Can anyone who has a match over due since July please play this week otherwise a coin will be tossed. The next round of Singles and Doubles should be played in the next 2 weeks.

As a little incentive to play during open week we have 2 great prizes. Every time you play during the week you’ll be entered unto a draw for free. The prizes are;
Non member category – Free Membership in 2016
Member category – €200 off your 2016 sub.
Lockers
We are tidying up the lockers in the Gents and Ladies locker rooms. Eddie has checked every locker and any locker with contents has had a sticker attached. We request every member who is using a locker to clear it out in the next week. This will allow us to identify lockers which are locked and not in use.
Going forward anyone who requests the use of a locker long term can contact me and if possible a locker will be provided.
Ryder Cup
Just a quick note to let you know Ryder cup draw for 2015 is to take place on Friday next. Should you wish to enter a team for this year’s event contact the Pro Shop prior to 6pm on Friday evening.
Golfsure Insurance
Don’t forget to take out the Golfsure Insurance. Only €20 and can be paid any time in the office to AnnMarie.
