Gowran Park is an ideal conference venue in Kilkenny where we can cater from 20 to 400 delegates. Our conference venue is located on the top floor of our grandstand overlooking the golf and racecourses. It is a multi purpose room which can be used for a range of corporate events such as meetings, product launches, off site training and AGM’s.
We work with Team Dynamics Kilkenny to offer indoor and outdoor team building games and activities specifically tailored to your corporate team building requirements.
Past events include Green Energy Fair, Thoroughbred Breeders Seminar, Enterprise Ireland Exporters Showcase and the Glanbia E-AGM.
Corporate Golf Day – why not make a day of it with a meeting/presentation, followed by golf and a meal. All of which can be held onsite at Gowran Park.
Gowran Park has hundreds of acres of outdoor space which can be utilised for events of various natures. In recent years two events in particular have become very much established on the summer calendar; the Festival of Speed and the Country Music Festival.
The Gowran Festival of Speed has taken place in Gowran Park utilising the full venue with truck & car displays, rally experience, traders area and various stunts exhibitions.
The Kilkenny Country Music Festival has become a must for all country music fans where many of the countries top acts including Mike Denver, Derek Ryan, Cliona Hagan and Michael English.
Other events to take place are Gavin James Live at the Drive in which takes place in August 2020. It’s not just horses running at Gowran Park as Leinster Athletics events have also taken place, most recently in autumn 2019.
Gowran Park has established an excellent reputation for family gatherings such as Birthdays, Christening, Communion, Confirmation Anniversaries and funerals.
Local Sports clubs use our main function room for AGM’s, medal presentations and dinner dances.
