Free bus – Gowran Park operate a Complimentary Bus Service to every race meeting (there is €5.00 return charge on Red Mills Race Day). This Service departs from The Gaol Road, Kilkenny City, R95 ER84 (beside Kilkenny Fire Station) one hour before the first race (two hours on Thyestes Race Day). This Service will then return to Kilkenny City after racing.

The Shuttle Bus Services returns to Kilkenny City after racing – close to most of the stag party accommodation in Kilkenny. Plus its very close to many of the main pubs and clubs such as Langtons, Matt the Millers and the Left Bank.
Why not combine racing and golf for the best stag party ever. Gowran Park has an 18 hole championship golf course alongside the renowned racecourse. We can arrange golf on one day and racing the day after once the dates suit. We could have golf on the Friday with food before and after. Then head into Kilkenny which is less than 15 minutes drive. The following day get the complimentary bus back out for a days racing. Now that’s surely a winning double.
