Whether you are visiting Gowran Park for a hen or stag party or a short break in the area, there any many hotels in Kilkenny & Carlow as well as B&B and self catering options. Gowran Park itself is 14km from Kilkenny city and 26km from Carlow. Apart from Kilkenny and Carlow there is Bagenalstown & Borris both of which are close by. Gowran Park operates a complimentary bus from Kilkenny city for every race meeting.

Thyestes Bar – located on the ground floor between the Tote counters and BoyleSports. Blinkers Bar – situated on the first floor beside the food hall. Blinkers is buzzing on Thyestes Day & Red Mills Day. It is available for private functions on other race days subject to numbers and availability. Hospitality Suite – located on the top floor of the grandstand with a balcony overlooking the entire race track and most importantly the winning post. To gain access to the Hospitality Suite one has to have their wristband which they receive at the entrance or in the post in advance.
Food Hall – Located on the first floor. One can take the stairs or elevator inside the reception entrance. The food choices are extensive and range from a tea and a scone to sandwiches and main course meals. From the Food Hall one can get perfect views of the winning post. Clubhouse – Located on the second floor at the top of the grandstand beside the hospitality suite. The clubhouse is private on our major race days however there is limited access on other days.
On non race days our clubhouse is open daily from 10am from April to the end of September serving a wide ranging menu including an extensive Sunday Lunch and Brunch menu. From October to the end of March the Clubhouse is open from Wednesday to Sunday inclusive again serving Sunday Lunch. With a view to dine for, a meal at the Clubhouse in Gowran Park will live long in the memory.
