In the week of the Goffs Thyestes Chase it is a fitting announcement that Goffs will continue their sponsorship of this iconic race for a further three years up until 2024. The race has become known as the race that stops a county and this years edition takes place on 23rd January.
The team at Goffs are delighted to extend this sponsorship and Mr Henry Beeby, Goffs Group Chief Executive said “Goffs is delighted to continue our association with the iconic Thyestes Chase which is one of the key races in the National Hunt calendar and a superb days racing”.
As one would expect the team at Gowran Park are delighted with the sponsorship renewal and are really looking forward to the next three years. This years Goffs Thyestes Chase goes to post at 3pm and there will be much anticipation in the air. Final declarations will be known on Wednesday morning however entries include Acapella Bourgeois, Chef Des Obeaux, Ex Patriot and the early bookies favourite Minella Till Dawn trained by Gordon Elliott.
There is a very interesting card on the day with the John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle going to post at 1.50pm won in the past two years by Presenting Percy who is also entered this year.
