Thanks to everyone for the great support shown at the Dan Bolger Memorial fundraiser for Kilkenny / Carlow Homecare. A total of €2490 was raised for the Charity which exceeded all expectations which is an excellent result. Thank you to everyone who helped organise the day – in particular Lady Captain Breda Bolger who put a huge amount of effort in making sure the day was a complete success. Thanks also to the Sponsors – their generosity was hugely appreciated.
In Matchplay the following is the latest news:
The Junior Foursomes lost to Carrick on Suir in Waterford Castle on Sunday 1st May – the match was lost on the 21st hole which shows how closely fought it was. Well done to all involved for their efforts and time put into practising and doing the very best they could.
The Finn Trophy is taking place on Weds 4th of May in Gowran against Waterford Castle. This is our first time getting a home draw in this competition – best of luck to everyone playing.
The Intermediate team is out on Monday the 9th of May in Callan against Castlecomer – very best of luck to the ladies involved. The Minor team play Kilkenny in New Ross also on the 9th of May – if anyone is available to Caddy either of the matches please contact Breda to let her know.
