WET WEATHER RACES IN AFTER THYESTES……………..
Following a fantastic day of racing on Thursday last, weather conditions deteriorated rapidly and proved difficult for golf over the weekend – heavy rain on Friday put paid to our Spring Series which has been deferred to this week. Timesheets are open for this Thursday 30th and Friday 31st January with 3 qualifiers as usual going forward to the final on Friday 28th March.
Heavy conditions coupled with wintery showers on both Saturday and Sunday morning resulted in a lesser number of members taking part in their 11 hole competition. Those who did brave the elements played well considering the unfavourable conditions.
