Members 11 hole – Members held an 11 hole singles over last weekend. Michael Fitzpatrick returned 28 pts over the 11 holes to secure victory. Olan Corcoran (8) along with David Vaughan (7) both scored 27 pts with a countback dividing the pair. Olan took the runners up spot while David took the third place. Members competition continue next weekend with an 11 hole singles with times accessible through the website or by contacting the office.
Spring Series – Our popular Spring League took place over Thursday and Friday last with Rathdowney members taking the qualifying spots. 6 handicapper Lar Ryan tok the leading spot over the 2 days with a great score of 42pts. Martin Devlin (9) along with Tony Coady (13) took the remaining qualifying spots – both scoring 37 pts over the 18 holes. The competition continues this week however with Thystees Day on this Thursday the qualifying tournament will only be available on Friday 24th. Three qualifiers and equals from each week will go forward to the grand final which will be held on Friday 21st March 2014.
