The first of the popular Wednesday evening 9 hole competitions begins on the 7th April 2010 and will continue on most Wednesdays throughout the summer up into late September. These are always keenly anticipated occasions and have a large social element to them with a special light menu being laid on afterwards in the bar….

Once again the weather disturbed the chance of some competitive golf at the weekend. The early morning frost meant that the planned 11-hole competition had to be abandoned.
